Toxic leadership – Leadership prioritizes pleasing upper management and often takes credit for others’ work. In some cases, employees have been terminated just weeks after joining without valid reasons. Some managers lack true leadership skills, communication, and empathy they provide no real feedback loop, give zero room for mistakes, constantly criticize, and drive employees by fear, all while pretending to be supportive in front of others. Honestly, many of them would be better suited as individual contributors rather than managers. Management heavily favors certain individuals and maintains an “inner circle,” creating an unfair and exclusionary environment. No work-life balance – Employees are expected to be available at all times. You’re given a phone, and requests come in via direct messages during evenings, weekends, and even while you’re out of office.
