Pros

Good culture and a good way to serve the community.

Cons

They got rid of their pension and did not adjust their salaries to reflect the market for incoming employees. They still claim they have great benefits with an additional bump onto 401k(not comparable despite what they try to say.) but the largest trade off for taking lower pay was having a pension. Without that they will struggle to keep talent long term unless they adjust their salaries to reflect the market.

Pros

If senior management likes you you'll have a job for life and be treated decently.

Cons

If senior management doesn't like you they treat you absolutely terrible and the HR policies offer no protection.
