Pros

Epstein has built a strong reputation over the years, allowing employees to work on high-profile and exciting projects. The office is in a good location and provides industry-standard benefits, which offer some stability. The best part of the company is the talented and hardworking people you get to work with, who genuinely care about their work and collaborate well within their teams. However, the high turnover rate means many great colleagues don’t stay long due to the company’s larger issues.

Cons

Epstein severely underpays its employees while maintaining an extreme power dynamic at the top, leaving little room for managers to make meaningful decisions. The company is obsessed with maximizing profit to an unhealthy degree, often at the expense of long-term success and employee satisfaction. Despite having some strong teams, their achievements are frequently overshadowed or underappreciated by leadership. There is a high turnover rate, largely due to poor collaboration between departments and a lack of support for innovation. The company struggles to adapt to market trends, making it a frustrating place to work for those who value growth and forward-thinking leadership.

We agree with you that the best part of Epstein is our hardworking, talented staff! We have the best team! Epstein has seen a huge reduction in our turnover in the last two years and are thrilled to say our turnover rate is the lowest it has been since the Great Recession. Epstein continually reviews the market and adjusts are salaries accordingly. We are growing at a very high rate and are bringing so many amazing people into the organization. If we were not paying competitively, we would not be able to make this happen. This growth is allowing for tremendous opportunity for all of our staff and many are taking advantage of these opportunities to move up in the organization. It is understandable that everyone wants more PTO, however, Epstein offers long holiday weekends and half day Fridays year round that provide more work/life balance than most organizations in our industry.
