Pros

Company tries to be family friendly. Projects are varied and interesting. Good intranet and information sharing system. Good place to work if you like being tossed into the deep end and then swim or sink.

Cons

There is no true work/life balance at a consulting company when billability is king. As much as the company tries to be family friendly, having to work when on a "vacation" is not a vacation it is simply working outside of the confines of the office. Taking on additional responsibilities does not get you any additional compensation. Senior management is very concerned with selling but less concerned with how the work will get done after it is sold. Moving to an office model where no one has an office and professionals giving confidential advice to clients will be sitting in a big open office for everyone to overhear conversations. Perception presented of caring about employee feed back, but follow-through is limited.

Pros

Very interesting projects for mostly Fortune 500 clients; employees are encouraged to work on the types of projects that interest them most; management shows interest in employees' career growth.

Cons

Salaries seem a little on the low side, though the health benefits and bonuses seem very competitive with other similar firms
