Pros

I like the fact that even with daily substitute teaching, a lot of the jobs are posted well in advance, so you know your work schedule well ahead of time and can plan around what you are doing. If the job gets canceled, there is enough time to find something else for that specific day. Additionally, if there is a problem that they notify you about, you have a chance to talk to someone to let them know exactly what took place.

Cons

They are not always forgiving if an issue arises. Most of the time they tend to take the employer's side of the story and not always the employee's side of the story. I can understand that they do not want to make their customers unhappy, but sometimes the employees of the school districts are not always happy and need someone to be understanding and compassionate. Due to ESS not being there makes it difficult to know exactly what took place.

Pros

You get paid weekly and you can create your own schedule as long as you work I believe three times a month to maintain working status.(I’m not 100% but it’s something like that). If you don’t like a school you don’t ever have to go back. By far the easiest job.

Cons

There will always be cons with any job. Keep in mind this is the thing that gets you to the other thing.
