I am able to choose which schools and grade levels I wish to sub in and how many days I can work. I love that I get to see my own kids and past students. Everything is well-organized, and most school liaisons are highly appreciative of subs. It's convenient for those who need a flexible schedule and/or transitioning to another job and need something in the interim. You get to teach and be with students, but you don't have to deal with all the other cons that come with teaching full-time.
