Pros

You can work almost everyday if you are willing to work at any of the schools. I personally do not like the Middle School.

Cons

The pay is terrible for the days when you have tough classes.

Thanks for your input. One of the best aspects of substitute teaching is the ability to choose exactly when and where you’d like to work. It can definitely be a challenging job – some days more than others! Keep in mind that you’re making a difference, and tough days will only help to strengthen your teaching skills.

You have the ability to control your schedule and select jobs. You can teach and not have to prepare or deal with administration, parents, grading, ongoing drama, etc.

Cons

Sometimes it is hard to get jobs before they are taken. Pay is not great.
