Pros

Flexibility, can make your own schedule, work when you want to and where you want to

Cons

No direct supervisor or boss, pay wasn't great. They say the price is set by the school district but what i'm wondering is how much of a cut does source4teachers get? It can be a nerve wracking job going from school district to school district but once you get comfortable in a certain district they may request you.

Pros

This is a great way to build up your experience in education and get a good feel of the world of education and if it is for you. The people you work for are really nice and help you along the way if you have any issues.

Cons

The compensation is awful. You do not make enough to live off of. you will have to take on a second job if you don't want to live on welfare.

Pros

You can work wherever the company offers their services. Flexibility to work when you want to. Can pick places to work online. A lot of places to work. Decent benefits if you need them. They handle all of your paper work and they tell you step-by-step how to become a certified substitute teacher.

Cons

Compensation varies depending on the town you work in. Can only work during the school year and not any summer programs a school may offer. Process to become a certified substitute teacher takes a few weeks
