      The job is fun to do and you’re only needed on certain days. If you’re long term then you work every day.

      You don’t get paid enough for what you do.

      Cons

      I have been paid a total number of one paycheck. This week was supposed to be my second and I have not received it due to a payroll issue. During a pandemic, was not able to talk to anyone at corporate HR and so far I still have not been paid. Would not recommend this company.

      We are terribly sorry for the delay in payroll last week. The delay in payment was due strictly to the ransomware attack on Prism HR’s payroll system and the subsequent administrative processes of attempting to run a different payroll. We appreciate your review and wish you success in your future endeavors.

      Substitute Teaching working for an Agency

      Pros

      Lots of jobs to choose from, payroll taken care of, some benefits, no annual training

      Cons

      Individual schools don't tell ESS important things that substitutes should know (change in work hours, rules about parking, break times etc), computers for sign-in sometimes broken, inconsistent placements so you have to jump from school to school every day, different pay in different towns
