Promotions typically mean they give you more work without actually increasing your pay rate, although it's promised that you will get a raise "in the future if you continue to do well". They then find any reason not to give you a raise and claim the performance as the primary reason you didn't get the raise.

Too many chefs in the kitchen. Tons of micromanagement. Most managers do not give clear and concise direction on projects. And when an employee creates errors based on the lack of direction, there is no accountability from the original manager. Directions consists of, giving them something outside the box yet they reel it in to where it what they are trying to get away from. no vision
