Pros

great exposure to all facets of the fitness industry, can really cut your teeth in corporate wellness. A great place to start in the field

Cons

Very top heavy, the upper management gets all the best benefits and pay when the lower level staff struggle to make ends meet and have terrible health benefits. They preach that they care for you and want you to have a balanced work-life relationship but don't follow through. Pay is below average and employees have no growth opportunity leading to a very quick burnout. The company you are contracted through determines your pay, not the company so someone in the same position with the same experience can make less than their peer just because of their contractor which is unfair. They focus only on the positive but never address the negatives, evident when they only reply to the positive ratings on this site... You are asked often to do the best you can with the minimal support you get.

Pros

You have access to some of the best trainers and nutrition experts in the world and the clients they work with across sports, military and corporate are really interesting.

Cons

If you aren't a coach or nutritionist you will never be treated like you are part of the "club". It's very clique based organization and you really can't have any of your own ideas. The leadership is very weak. Most of the leaders are former coaches and have no corporate leadership, management skills. Performance reviews are a joke and they tend to hire and fire sporadically rather than with a strategic staffing plan. There is almost zero room for advancement and never question anyone at the top.

Pros

The senior leadership keeps getting larger with new Executives that get paid enormous sums of money by comparison to their staff who actually does all of the work. They are hemorrhaging money right now because of poor leadership and high turnover. They wouldn't have high turnover if they paid their staff well. The staff that actually does all the work gets paid the least. They wouldn't have lost so many accounts if they paid for talent. None of their clients cares about their diversity or the CEO or CMO or CIO, etc. The client typically only has direct contact with Regional Director and Program Manager and HFS and Group Instructors. These are the people who do all of the work and get paid the least. They need to wake up or their company will collapse.

Cons

Poor pay, bad senior leadership.
