Pros

Excellent knowledge sharing sessions, rigorous quality checks, attention to detail, perfection and quality in every deliverable sent to the client, supportive and helpful peers

Cons

Analysts are generally hired off campuses and they are not taken on the payroll of the company. This means that professional tax is deducted from your salary every month and unless you have investments, a considerable income is deducted as income tax. Moreover, if you are not an MBA or do not have any post-graduate degree, they do not consider you for the role of a Consultant. Analysts are also not eligible for other benefits like food coupons.

Pros

Great training and on the job experience, good exposure to companies, great opportunities for career advancement and growth. Fast paced.

Cons

Pay is not competitive with industry pay in areas where I work. Benefits are not as good as industry in areas where I work, and of course the overall downside of working in Auditing. High turnover is built into management's model, which means employee moral is usually low.
