WFH, that’s about it honestly. Pay is average compared to other consulting firms. Benefits are mid.
Cons
Partners are overselling and understaffing. The narrative has constantly been “AI AI AI”. Everything is slop. Project workforce gap is expected to be solved by use of AI. There’s no one left here who really thinks for themselves. It feels like everyone is mindlessly promting AI for solutions and the deliverables just keep getting longer and filled with more slop. If you choose to think and be analytical about your work you won’t finish. They’ve set up their SOWs in a way where the work cannot be completed without AI reliance/crutching. But when you turn in AI generated slop, management will come back with a million questions like “where did you get this from?” There’s a very toxic culture too. Lots of dehumanizing each other and speaking to teammates like they’re idiots. I’ve seen so many of my teammates straight up harassed and berated on calls, it’s disheartening. To promote they don’t care for good quality work, they only care that you have visibility with the right people. Be one of the boys with the partners, play golf, talk sports, and you’ll make it somewhere. Delivering good work is not enough. They need you to schmooze your way up and setup self initiated touch points with partners and to talk about your work with them so you’re front of mind when it comes to promo conversations. DEI initiatives were also largely reduced.
