Pros

Potential to log a lot of hours quickly. Some days allow for 6-7 hours of flying if the conditions are good.

Cons

If you are on rotation and the weather is bad (clouds) or if the plane you are assigned is in the shop for maintenance, then you could see a significant decrease in flying time for that month of rotation. Typical for most survey jobs. Eagleview did a great job of ensuring the planes were in great condition and spared no expense.
