Pros

Plenty of exposure to other programs. Plenty of talented low-mid level staff. Benefits are decent, but expensive insurance for family.

Cons

Pay is said to be comparable to other agencies, but it rarely matches the increased responsibilities and years of experience. Not enough time to become proficient in all programs related to your job..

Pros

Decent benefits, good co-workers.

Cons

Days lack structure, which is to be expected with case management, and can vary from stress filled leaving you running all over the state to being bored at your desk for the day. The job offers little chance for advancement and HR was clear at hiring that the job offers no merit based raises, you're lucky to get COLA raises. Turnover is high because the job is full of stress and the lack of case mangers means you're taking care of more people than the job description advertises.
