      We're family, we care for each other, from the CEO to the people in the field. The concern is genuine, you can fell it.

      Pros

      Caring atmosphere and culture. Great attuides, from management down. A very safe place to work, where safety is tought as a personal and corporate value. A company full of friends that help each other out. The work atmosphere is one where you can grow and you are challenged to be the best.

      Pros

      1. One of those nice, secure manufacturing jobs like our dad's had--we can still make it in the USA! 2. Very team-oriented environment with an extreme emphasis on safety. 3. Steady, satisfying workload with better-than average pay, benefits, and atmosphere: What's not to like?

      Cons

      Its cons are the cons of all larger companies, along with too many meetings and too much emphasis on Safety. Although, really, can there ever be too much emphasis on safety?

      Pros

      In my 36+ years of experience with the company I have never once been put in a position where I have ever felt like I was expected to do anything or make any decision that could be considered unethical, immoral, or non-professional. In fact, the expectation is just the opposite.....always expected to do the "right thing".

      Cons

      Most of Eastman's locations are in relatively small communities and are by far the "employer of choice" so pay and benefits are average at best.
