Pros

I liked my coworkers and most of my managers. There were actual benefits offered if you stayed long enough too -- very unusual for restaurants.

Cons

The hours were long and you constantly had to be on your feet. Restaurant culture in general can be difficult.

Pros

the amount of Italian wine at your disposal is incredible. Staff was generally friendly. It is a special place to work!

Cons

the amount of work you must do is crazy with how little staff in the department. Inconsistent scheduling so that you are reliant on them as your only employer. So much wine moving from pallet to shelf to customer on top of the Italian knowledge you must have in order to function in the department. definitely under pay and over work their employees!
