Industry leader with cutting edge offerings and some highly intelligent people. Great opportunities to make real improvements to society and solve highly complex engineering and manufacturing problems. Good work life balance with early finish on fridays.

Cons

Gentlemens club mentality amongst management. Resistance to change due to monopoly position and barriers to entry in the industry. Nature of industry means change is extremely slow and bureaucracy and red tape is extreme. Although the financial compensation is good, promotions tend to be based on connections not merit, and there is little top down appreciation shown for hard work.

Cons

If you don't have a clear idea what you want to promote, you will lose your path. The center needs a better vision of innovation, currently, it's a support center.
