Pros

The company has come a long way since it's split from Dish regarding how they treat employees. The environment is pleasant and the working conditions are favorable. It is a great place to gain work experience and learn from peers.

Cons

EchoStar does not pay its employees very well compared to other employers. The benefits package is bare bones and more could be offered to employees with respect to flexible scheduling, time off and work life balance.

Pros

Very cool technology to work with, things you will not see anywhere else all in one building. A few good people around that really know what they are doing and trying to make everything work well.

Cons

VERY inexperienced staff promoted to higher positions without the training or knowledge to do the job properly. Crazy timelines that are demanded by management but not supported by management. Very poor benefits package overall, along with no bonus structure to speak of.
