Corporate/Government oversight hamstrings much of the positive influence.

Great location to try and be a positive influence for students, and a great mentorship opportunity

Cons

Students were used as paychecks first before they were people. Some were "graduated" without completing education and received certificates that they did not earn legitimately. Also, consequences for infractions were not often followed according to the company policy.

Cons

Due to being non-profit, budget does not always allow for basic necessities. Often have to buy things out of pocket. Also, budget does not allow for all participants to have access to training they want or need to become an employable entry level employee in their field of choice.
