Pros

Company car but don't use to much gas or you will get on the gas list

Cons

60 plus hour work weeks 35K salary Company invades every part of your life. You are judged on how you park your car, how many times you check your mirrors, etc Company takes from you a whole lot more than they are giving. You don't have to look very far to find a better work situation. This company is a joke. They try and brainwash you into thinking they are a great company but the reality is they go through employees like no tomorrow. People don't last long here because of all the stupid requirements. Say good bye to any type of life you once had prior to joining this company. Corporate greed and slave labor is what this company is all about. Do yourself a favor and look elswhere for employment.

Pros

Fair treatment and superlative advancement opportunities were what made Ecolab a great place to work. It is an outstanding company and has taken the lead in environmental responsibility with regards to chemical manufacturing, distribution, and application.

Cons

There is a lot of competition within the organization which is not a bad scenario. Sometimes personal gain is thrust in front of team building which may lead to dissemination among the ranks. Management is well aware of the pitfalls, and takes corrective action to deal with "ladder climbing" and "back stabbing".

Pros

Quite a bit of freedom in scheduling your work. Or at least until this year. Decent pay and health insurance.

Cons

24-7 on call, lots of out of pocket expenses, lots of driving time that you do not really get paid for, all extra work customer demands you will do without additional pay. Terrible hours, I work in the mornings to late afternoon then have to go back and work at night finishing my work around 2 or 3 am , then have to start all over again next morning. Forget vacation. Yes they give you vacation, but in order to take it you have to finish all your accounts and call backs that take the entire month in 2 or 3 weeks. You will be so tired when you take vacation that you'll do nothing but sleep. This job well leave you burned out with no time for life.
