      Great people but systems are antiquated.

      Pros

      They are laid-back people and personable.

      Cons

      They are not willing to change and are so grounded in repetition. Systems are too antiquated and everyone is too comfortable with the way things are. No strong understanding of accountability and therefore the company loses a lot of value in work-improvement. As a result, you have a team that has been vested within the company for 10+ plus years and becomes lazy in their work.

      Pros

      Schedule, Money, Company car, you are in charge of your own success.

      Cons

      Once you make 70k its hard to make more money unless you get lots of promotions. After 5 years is a first promotion, another 5 for second promotion, and 5 to 10 for the third promotion where you are likely to actually make some money. This is if you get hired as a TM, if you are hired as an RM it will take alot longer.

      Overall a stable company. Some career growth opportunities if you find yourself a manager who cares about you. Competent management team.

      Cons

      Ecolab uses its size to hire above average people at below average cost. Personal growth largely dependent on your manager.
