A great company that will only get better

Pros

The company is comprixed of employees who share and believe strongly in the company vision that everyone deserves personalized retirement help, regardless of level, wealth, occupation, etc. The people at FE are smart, hardworking, and want to make a difference for participants. While the company is growing quickly, and we don't have all the answers, we are all trying hard to find them. We care and we want to make the company a success for our sponsors, partners, participants, and each other.

Cons

We're growing and changing and not everyone likes that or can operate in such an environment. There are bumps and frustrations but there are also high points and great work, camaraderie, innovations, flexiblity, self-satisfation, and more.

Pros

Great workspace, free snacks and drinks and great work life balance with lots of perks.

Cons

Management isn't properly trained or skilled enough to lead team. They are not good leaders. Concerns and complaints from employees are ignored as a result issues continue to happen and the employees are left to pick up pieces. They have a habit of putting temporary band aids on problems and moving to the next big project.

Pros

The company continues to be a fast growing firm that is continually expanding it's customer and sponsor client base. They have done and are doing great things for the average investor. The culture is an "aggressive" sales culture where you sink or swim within the first 90 days. Resources and tools available to employees are adequate

Cons

Senior management expresses the desire to listen to employee feedback but when feedback is provided it is often ignored. Many of the mid level marketing managers are not knowledgable about the actual operations of a financial services business and the business is very silo orientated with minimal coordination between departments. Company went on a hiring binge for marketing and customer experience staff but has mostly overlooked advisors.
