      Edelman is a great company

      Pros

      Edelman takes the time to really understand what it needs to do to take care of its people, clients and business. Because the company is private, it doesn't chase the stock price which really allows it to focus on what's best for business. Edelman is also focused on how the market is changing, and making sure it is poised for the future.

      Cons

      Like any PR firm, the hours are long and it is difficult to find time to have a personal life.

      Fantastic & fun place to work where real opportunities are given, but hours are long and pay is low.

      Pros

      Global agency with incredible list of clients. Great people, all of whom are very competent and driven. It is fun and full of young people. There is a real push for people to learn and take on as much responsibility as they feel fit.

      Cons

      Resourcing is a constant problem. As with all agencies, the salaries are not high especially if they are put in relation to the number of hours spent in the office.
