Pros

voted i think #3 best employer in one of the areas for large market cap size its government* ~ as in i thiiink they secured a contract w the Feds for 5~10 years, i don't remember, but its job security if you like that. The starting pay is a couple dollars above "federal contractor" min wage. If you do good, they have a company incentive pay thing where you get 'points' you can spend on things or gift cards**. i feel smarter*** after working.

Cons

*government 'contract' work ~ so you either work direct for company (who is under a larger contract from feds) or an outside agency subcontracts you (which have they own rules) ANND you learnn about this student loan forgiveness and you don't even qualify for it. Lame. Promotions are also never quick. Not enough bilingual either. **the pay increase feels low compared to inflation, as well, the earned the 'points' system~is taxed, and performance based. The communication chain of Agents, to Leadership, to Managements is a luck of the draw. A bunch of layers in multiple departments, therefore, things rarely get done fast. ***the Dept of Education (ED) guidance is such a rollercoaster that its sink or swim trials every couple of months. Getting terminated, as a call center agent at least, will have you will sit all day, talk/type all day, and if you can't keep up with attendance, performance, or communication, leads to being terminated.

Pros

I love working at this company. They have good benefits and rewards.

Cons

Sometimes the job is confusing and some people have complained that they get moved to different departments too much. More opportunities for pay raises would be nice too.
