They are the ones that control your paycheck but don't tell you how much you will be earning per day. I understand the district controls that but when you complete the application and get approved. You don't get to know how much you are making till your first pay check which is interesting. Even at fast food jobs you know how much you are making before your first pay check. Can also get "fired" for not taking enough jobs or at least that is the way they made it seem.

You are paid a fraction of what a certificated teacher makes and only marginally more than someone that works in the fast food industry. For being responsible for our future. Edustaff does not help manage the Frontline/AESOP system and take no responsibility for that. You roll the dice every position you take. They will not back you up if it is canceled or you have to do extra work or travel. No one, including Edustaff, really cares about you as a sub. You are a warm body. Feedback left on Frontline/AESOP is seemingly not read by anyone. It's not so bad being a substitute. But, this is a staffing agency that is taking advantage of the poor state of affairs of our education system in this country. There is really no need for a third party in this equation, especially when Frontline/AESOP is basically the only thing doing any work. You are paid by district, so if you work for more than one, you will get paid in a crazy, staggered time frame.
