      - You determine your hours - Chance for very good pay - Run the business the way you want - Veterans in area are very willing to help and give advice - Business model lets you develop good relationships with clients

      Cons

      - High office overhead makes it hard to be profitable. - Door knocking is not fun, but can work. - Hard to offer advisory platform when new and having to make numbers, only real conflict of interest - Benefit package could use some work, esp health

      Policies are set in place to ensure that there's a clear understanding of what is expected in the job tasks.

      Cons

      If your FA decides that you are responsible for everything your life will be miserable. Get out of that office! My FA expects me to do his job. He is only interested in making money, doesn't explain or give clients required disclosure information or prospectuses because he says he doesn't want to confuse them. I breaks my heart to see these customers who trust him continually having their investment bought and sold so that he can make a commission.
