Pros

Nice cafeteria, nice building. Some employees very friendly.

Cons

I am not sure any company has more of a political environment than Edwards. The only way to make your way up is to suck up to your manager. If they know you technical knowledege is more than them or you have any better ideas on any matter, not only are you not appreciated but also they will do anything to demote you. It doesn’t matter how hard you work; the only thing management considers is if you are in the inner circle or not and that only occurs if you can play the game and fake it by sucking up to management. I’ve worked for multiple companies and this is the worst work experience and work environment I’ve experienced.

Pros

Paycheck and benefits are OK. Nothing that offsets.

Cons

They use a type of "lord of the flies" management approach including inconsistent and targeted 360 degree reviews, clique based gossiping about staff, no organizational structure. It goes on and on. Extremely high turn-over in management and staff (there is a corp KPI to reduce turnover--good luck! -Clueless).

Pros

You could say the cafeteria is good. Although it is pricy.

Cons

Lack of leadership, planning, strategy and knowledge within the corporate quality team is appalling. After working for multiple global companies during the last 25 years, I started working for Edwards last summer. Within three weeks realized I had made a mistake. Tried very hard to understand the new management style, organizations´ culture, expectation, goals, strategies, etc. What I found was a team that is reactive, just waiting for things to happen. A management that lacks the skills and knowledge to manage. A culture based on bickering and mistrust. I lasted about six months before submitting my resignation. I am working for another company, in the same industry, in a higher position with better benefits.
