People are wonderful, leadership is not

Employees under director level are helpful, collaborative and friendly Medical benefits are good Opportunity to work part time from home Company mission

Cons

Leadership is not connected, nor do they make the time to understand the area they are making decisions about Too many chefs in the kitchen barking orders and not enough cooks to make the food Company talks about growth opportunities but the organizational structure paired with insecure leaders with big egos does not actually allow for this. Teams don’t communicate across departments which creates duplicative work and a lack visibility to projects and priorities

Pros

The people live the values. The purpose is deeply embedded in the culture (Food and Companionship enriching life). Exciting to be part of an entrepreneurial, fast paced organization that has high aspirations for becoming a lead animal health org. Face pace means opportunities to do more, earlier in your career than at other more established orgs.

Cons

Not a place for someone who needs high stability and high order. Still a lot of work going on to get systems and processes stood up post Bayer Animal Health Acquisition.

Pros

Company recognizes the value of work-life balance and provides employees opportunities to improve. Elanco is attempting several approaches to improve employee engagement during a stressful time. Lots of autonomy if you are willing to lead from wherever you are.

Cons

Lots of change means lots of burnout potential if you don't take care of yourself and ask for support.
