Pros

Significant autonomy. Flexible work schedule. Can be interesting work depending on your project. Lots of access to the shop. I generally trust the business and engineering savvy of the leadership. Tons of very smart engineers there. Lesser engineers tend to wash out, which is a pro or a con depending on how good you are.

Cons

Demanding at times. Work environment aesthetics extremely poor. Just enough rope to hang yourself with. Zieve can be abrasive.

Pros

the job makes you a well rounded Mechanical Engineer. You have full control of the parts you are working on from design, review, manufacture, assembly, to onsite support

Cons

no real training/ mentor period, expected to go and figure stuff out on your own
