Pros

Some brilliant people work at EA, great to learn from. Good level of responsbility, even when just starting out. Good opportunities to take on new and challenging tasks.

Cons

Work life balance is up to you to try to maintain - some people will always work more, be sure to guard your time. Have to be pretty proactive about career development and promotions, always pushing for the official recognition (even though they do do a good job of calling out good work that you've done).

Feels like a company trying to find it's identity

Pros

you work everyday with extremely smart and engaged people. The employees are absolute gaming consumers and genuinely want to make cool stuff. Lots of passionate people that are inspiring to be around.

Cons

On a corporate level it feels like we're looking for an identity. And there are lots of very smart people executing on things blindly based on what sometimes feels like senior management "spaghetti against the wall" mandate.
