Pros

Great home/work life balance. Competitive base pay with great opportunity to make even money with after-hour visits. Management recognizes those hard working staff members.

Cons

A few staff members can be negative where nothing ever makes them happy. You could pay them $1million a year to work 1 hour per day and they'd still complain.

Pros

No units, minutes, productivity, efficiency. Work in an ADH 8-4 M-F. No weekends, lots of holidays, vacation and sick and personal time in separate banks and generous. Snow days-nuff said. Ability to have lasting relationships with clients that enable trust and life changing improvements. Huge amounts of appreciation from people that have not had easy lives.

Cons

Not enough therapists to do all that is needed. No hope of cost of living increases and all positions have salary caps. Supposed merit based system apparently does not value hard work and great client relationships. Many systematic changes with no staff input.

Pros

Decent benefit package, people at staff level respect each other, great IDT approach to care. Good hours.

Cons

Management is so far removed from the mission statement of the company. They don't involve themselves with staff, not much thankfulness for the hard work and dedication that staff provides for patients. No real structure, things change quickly, not so sure that people in leadership positions are qualified to do their jobs.
