Rewarding company to work for. Management listens to concerns and suggestions. Love the hours- I finally have a healthy work/ life balance. If interested, nurses can commit to after hours or weekend visits for extra money, but never made mandatory. I love my weekends off. On call weekend rotation only comes around once every couple months.

Cons

Pandemic has left us short staffed at times.

This organization has the potential to turn the lives of the population it serves around for the better. It has a great mission and great ordinary staff dedicated to caring for their patients.

Cons

Poor nursing management. The nursing dept is run on cronyism and sycophancy. The managers who lead it are incompetent and un-professional. They feel threatened by staff working to advance their education and career. If you raise concerns, management will frustrate you until you quit. HR will turn a deaf ear or dismiss you outright. It is a toxic environment that despises staff development and rewards cronyism.
