Anthem has good benefits for overall physical and mental wellbeing. They have opportunities to further education and obtain certifications. There are surveys/conversations initiated by the company to obtain feedback that will improve associate experience and workflow.
Cons
Working in customer service is an extremely sensitive role to perform within. It can be stressful to take charge of issues that are not created by you individually but are results of imperfect governmental, provider, or insurance systems and processes. Customer surveys are direct hits to personal performance even if unrelated to service performed on individual calls.
