      Pros

      My direct manager is really great to work for. She doesn't micromanage or hover or watch the clock. The work we do is critical and time sensitive so there is always work to be done.

      Cons

      Lack of praise among the team and department. When folks work their tail off it seems to just fly over mgmt head and after putting in a year of more than my fair share of work I am burned out with what feels like no end in sight. No clue if mgmt is even taking note of the tremendous amount of work I'm doing.

      Pros

      Honestly cannot list any "pros" anymore as management killed a decent PTO policy leaving people scrambling to take PTO, removing work at home opportunities...... pretty much any positive aspect of working at Anthem is going out the door so I did too.

      Cons

      Abysmal work/life balance, grossly understaffed teams, numerous teams are clueless about the systems they're paid to manage, zero accountability of such teams, ridiculously low merit increases with no explanation, zero opportunity for advancement, and the list can go on and on.... one of the most ridiculously stingy companies I have ever seen.
