      New CEO, time for layoffs

      Its a good paying job if you could zig zag through the layoffs and survive

      Cons

      They use to have good work life balance, but there’s a new CEO and a lot of changes are occurring. Working from home is going away. Jobs are becoming rare in CA. Company going through a lot of changes again. Happens every four years, every CEO wants to leave a mark

      Too big to fail, nice people

      Cons

      Constant fire drills, and unreasonable workload. Management does not always understand what is happening on the ground, drinking way too much Kool aid. Taking away work at home and removing flexibility for employees. Do not value employees. Shadow layoffs. Culture values enthusiasm over reality and talent.

      Really hard to think of any pros - some good co-workers and generally people want to serve our customers

      Cons

      Plan to have a workload of 3-4 people (and you'll need to be okay with it - no complaining). Limited increases and bonuses, and a market-lagging benefits package. It's a command and control culture with score-keeping silos. There are frequent leadership changes - on my 4th boss in 2 years, my boss's position is on it's 3rd boss, and the C-leader for HR has changed 4 times in 3 years. Also in that same time - multiple CIOs, CEOs, etc. Much of C-level leadership team are bullies. RIF people regularly in order to save money for the pet projects of the executives (and to fund their use of organizations like Deloitte).
