Pros

Work from home opportunity. Very close, caring team of co-workers. Other than this, there are no pros to speak of in my opinion.

Cons

Performance based, task driven. No work/life balance. Work schedule went well beyond 8/hrs day. Several RIF (reduction in force) lay-offs with notification occurring 15 minutes on same day as lay off. Never allowed to discuss lay off or share information with co workers. Always felt insecure in job. Constant changes to procedures without prior notice. Communication non-existent. Encouraged to seek alternate positions through internal job openings then disqualified for lack of experience.

Micromanaged, critical culture

Pros

High quality output; highly organized processes; decent benefit package and salary. Good training opportunities. Appreciated my colleagues support assistance, and insight.

Cons

Extremely micromanaged culture; bullying upper management and filtered down to complicit and "yes" managers. We had high turnover in our group, but no one seemed to connect the dots. Worked long hours and nearly every holiday to make critical deadlines. No follow-up on company wide surveys that explicitly outlined problems.

Pros

The benefits are good. The pay is decent. There are plenty of advancement opportunities.

Cons

As with any company, it depends on your management what the environment is like. Reorgs happen a lot so you never know who will end up your manager. Don't burn bridges. Training seems almost non existent and funding for training doesn't exist. So as a manager I just have to make it happen. People at the top don't listen to the people on the front lines as much. Stress is High
