Pros
With over 30 years working FT within the company my career opportunities were readily available and often self directed. Open career advancement and direction required communication with managers is part of the corporate culture. ELT very knowledgeable, provided communications across the organization. Provided a generous severance for those offered a one-time early retirement option.
Cons
Organizational changes occurred often which resulted in loosing continuity of historical accomplishments and successes. Be prepared to rebuild, restart, or end corporate initiatives previously established or initiated.
