The bullpen environment was filled with distrust,paranoia, and backstabbing. Every client call we handled was monitored by either senior management or Team Leads. If we ever misspoke to a client we would receive a Instant Message informing us of error and what to needed to say to the client to correct ourselves. 'Team Leads' complained openly in work area about employees abusing both frequency and duration of bathroom breaks employees were taking. The Anthem Health Plan Advisor group is straight out of a George Orwell novel. It didn't me long to understand why the permanent Anthem employees would sarcastically say aloud 'Welcome to Anthem' after a getting beaten down with negative feedback from management.
