      Pros

      I work on a great team, with very nice people. PTO accrual is great.

      Cons

      You would think that employees of an insurance company would get better health insurance benefits. Pay is not comparable to the work done to satisfy our clients. This position is client facing with a lot of stress. Account management and executives may sell the insurance to clients, but ESR's are just as much a part of the team, and do not get reimbursed fairly for the stress of the job.

      Difficult with remote management

      Pros

      Good perks if you work in an Anthem office, tuition reimbursement up to $5k, nice amount of PTO. Quarterly bonus plan can be a nice bit of cash.

      Cons

      Remote management can be very out of touch, which allows toxic environments to grow. Difficult to advance unless you're willing to move long distances. A single typo can destroy your bonus.
