      Pros

      Ellucian is very committed to encouraging the success of their clients. The company does conduct surveys to ask its employees how they feel.

      Cons

      During a time when sales missed projections by just 1 percent, they froze salaries for a year. That is just stupid. My Department made its numbers but that did not matter. Promotions and job changes are limited to a 10% salary increase. that is bad policy.

      Pros

      Flexible work environment where employees are treated as professionals. Everyone needs to pull their weight and there is an inherent trust in the people you work with. Good talent and very positive industry to work in.

      Cons

      Limited opportunities for salary growth beyond annual raise that averages 2-3%. Health benefits are quite expensive and keeps getting more expensive each year.
