Challenging but Interesting Work

Pros

Nice PTO; decent benefits with solid 401k company match (though benefits have been trimmed in recent years, the reductions are similar to those at other companies); challenging and interesting work as the company and industry continue to go through a major transition; an increasing willingness to look at existing processes and test ways to improve (not always successful, but steps in the right direction)

Cons

Increasing workloads due to changes in markets (need to do more with less, as in other companies and industries)

Pros

Great people, lots of opportunity to develop and grow. When doing well company keeps out of your way. Plenty of training available

Cons

Lower than average pay, target setting is often done by people unaware of the business cycles in which the customer operates so can be unrealistic.
