Really bad work culture

Pros

There's some amazing individuals working at EH. Truly great at their jobs and wonderful people. Pay is competitive.

Cons

Terrible work culture. So much so that I had the worst work experience of my life. Abusive bosses, redundant work, uninspired "forward thinking" that is really just an endless parade of meetings that make no change, and mediocre, dated performance is rewarded. The biggest issue is upper management AVPs and Directors who were never meant to manage people. Across many experiences beyond my own, I know daily screamings from bosses and/or complete dissociation and ignoring of direct reports is a common practice. Those in the c-suite level as well just check boxes to collect big paychecks but proclaim innovation and being industry leaders. Also when I was there, there were issues of get BIPOC individuals into leadership roles and/or if there were race related issues brought up there were instances when these issues were only heard when a white counterpart would bring up an issue to their boss. Just like yikes culture.

Pros

Good team, respect family values, decent pay rate

Cons

I was placed in low income communities and expected to sell high premium plans when the people only qualified for free or low premium health insurance. The state decides qualifications and you can’t put people in programs outside of thier qualification bracket. I was let go because I didn’t enroll anyone into the high premium programs.
