Pros

Emblem Health has generous PTO. Decent Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits. Your are allowed to wear Jeans on Fridays. They have a four day work week. Job schedule is pretty flexible.

Cons

depending on your department, could be a hostile work environment, employees aren't motivated to to do their best. Horrible Management practices and plenty of favoritism. Not much room for growth. It's easy to get comfortable because of the Benefits Package. Stay 5 years or less if possible. There are much better opportunities out there.

Pros

There are still a few good people left and I suppose it's nice to have snack machines in the break rooms, but that's about it. Select positions/departments offer remote working situations but good luck finding them.

Cons

There is an ingrained culture of micromanagement and limited opportunity for growth. Low morale due to high turnover and constant rolling layoffs - you never know who's next on the chopping block.

Pros

There is hope as the new CEO seems to be someone who is looking to put the company back where it deserves to be.

Cons

There is so much wrong with this department that it's hard to begin describing. Management is terrible, lazy and bunch of bullies who abuse and take advantage of hard working people so that they can pick up the slack of those incompetent, childish, good for nothing unprofessional employees they put under their wing just because they happen to have long lasting friendships with these individuals... Does it sound like???? Yes, conflict of interest and unfair competition as the favorite ones will always get almost no work while others who might be capable but are not the manager's favorite will get killed with work. It is so sad but some of the employees play video games during working hours, others browse the internet all day long while the hard working people struggle to get their work completed on time and if they don't do so, management harasses them and embarrasses them in front of everyone. In the worse case scenario, if you happen to have no choice and need a job and the only choice you have is to join this circus, stay away from the commercial unit at all costs. The supervisor of that unit is the most unprofessional supervisor you will ever encounter in your life, and trust me, he will make your life hell if you prove to be a smart individual. He is very insecure and rumor has it the only reason why he is a supervisor is because he is good friends with his boss because he truly lacks the competence and the basic skills to manage a group of employees.
