Pros

Apparent good terms for part time faculty, yet to be seen Good money per course promised, yet to be seen ($3030 per course, two courses per term, five terms per year)

Cons

Lengthy lead up process to start teaching. Applied in May, interviewed in August, will apparently not have work until January. Other faculty claimed "Super Adjunct" positions have been abolished, so there is no priority or seniority for adjuncts to be guaranteed a certain number of courses each term. There is no compensation for mandatory training, which takes several hours.
