      Seniority is emphasized. Management style is rigid, opportunities to advance is limited (department specific).

      Pros

      On the unit that I work the nurse to patient ration is excellent. It allows the nurse and techs to provide compassion and great nursing care for the patient without the stress of a heavy, unsafe patient load. The nursing team( oncology) , outside of management, that I work with love what they do and it shows.

      Cons

      Benefits are lousy. Management lacks insight and depth as real leaders. Pay rates are low compared to neighboring facilities.
