Pros

The benefits don't seem too bad.

Cons

I’ve worked as a Field Service Technician here, and unfortunately, my experience has been very disappointing. The working conditions are far from what was presented during the interview process. There were multiple times where expectations, responsibilities, and overall workload were misrepresented, which set the tone for my frustration. I’ve shared my concerns with the manager, and they don’t seem to care. As an experienced Technician, I know better and how things are supposed to be. I really regret leaving my previous employer to join Empire.

Pros

The company offers competitive salary and transparent raise cycles, with a clear performance review process. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage(medical, dental, vision) and 401(k) matching.

Cons

Unfortunately, the work culture is very toxic and driven by a lack of respect for former Cashman employees. Leadership, particularly within HR, tolerate and enable favoritism, which negatively impacts morale, trust, and fairness across teams. Decisions related to growth, recognition, and opportunities often feel subjective rather than merit-based. Employee concerns are not consistently addressed, and there is limited accountability when issues are raised. This creates an environment where people are hesitant to speak up and feel undervalued. Managers are frequently undermined in favor of employee preferences, which creates confusion around authority and accountability. A culture where management input is not consistently valued, leading to weakened leadership effectiveness and unclear expectations. Overall, the culture prioritizes internal politics over collaboration and professionalism, leading to high turnover and disengagement.
