      Good company to work for.

      Pros

      Overall, EB is a good company to work for. The company culture encourages teamwork and allowing for everyone to feel comfortable asking questions. My position ultimately became remote, which was great.

      Cons

      Due to economic changes, the company ultimately decided to layoff several members of the workforce, including the entire QA department I was in.

      Unfortunately, Employbridge was affected by the 2023 economic uncertainty and decreased demand for workers in the industrial sector. As a result, we made the very difficult decision to make some reductions in our permanent workforce to ensure that the company will deliver on its strategic priorities as it positions itself for 2024 and beyond. These decisions were not taken lightly, and we acknowledge and appreciate the dedication and contributions made by our Employbridge colleagues who were impacted by these reductions. Thank you.

      Ups and downs being at the bottom

      Pros

      Colleagues could assist you when you fell behind. Worked unsupervised for the most part.

      Cons

      Training wasn’t as it should be…. One person’s understanding of the online documents could fail as an error and mistraining occur. Management’s nagging to get time entered when branches could not provide was adding stress to an area harder than it should have. Lack of raises and positive feedback other than praising the group as a whole.
