Pros

The benefits are decent. Health, vision, dental, 401K, etc.

Cons

There is no work/life balance. You are expected to answer emails, texts, and calls at ALL hours every day of the week. It reached a point that I just had to ignore it because the manager over me emailed me 52 times and called me 7 times ON A SICK DAY.

It was alright

Pros

- It was work from home. - it's a contact center job. one of the worst ones i've had, but aren't they all kinda sucky?

Cons

- It started out okay, but got worse as the company tightened down on micromanagement. Of course, to a degree, it comes down to your manager. - The customer that called are extremely rude and low quality. You take a lot of crap from them, at a higher rate. Most people who are looking for the kinds of jobs they offer are desperate or living a quality of life that matches their horrible treatment of CSRs. - Thursdays and fridays are the worst because they are always payment issues. People call in pissed off, and take it out on you. the main branches never answer their phones, and some go as far as literally disconnecting their phones to avoid us calling. Some will pick up and hang up immediately. Managements solutions is to tell us to tell our managers.. needless to say, they don't fix it, the branches don't stop doing it, and management looks in the other direction and pretend it's not happening. all they care about is getting people employed to do these jobs so they can make their money. You're left their dealing with angry people. Of course you can't defend yourself. >_>
