A notable absence of clear leadership and defined goals has been observed, alongside a deficiency in best practices, people management, and industry-specific knowledge in analytics. The team primarily focuses on addressing technical debt and immediate problem-solving, often under the strain of unrealistic deadlines. Additionally, the recent introduction of an on-call system to manage these issues does not facilitate a sustainable solution or address the root causes of these challenges. Promotion is unrealistic and the process is misleading.
